Wines In Christmas Hampers
Wines are often given away during the holiday season. They come in nice packages, boxes or just the bottle itself with a big ribbon tied around it. The common practice these days, however, is placing wines inside Christmas Hampers together with other gourmet items like cheeses and chocolates. But with all these goodies, the wine, though it is the best one there is, may play second role to the chocolates. Make the wine standout in your hamper. Before you get into this, use a sturdy hamper, one that can hold heavy items like wine bottles. Carefully place the wine in the center of the hamper. Accentuate by using a tissue paper with a different color from the one you used to line the hamper. By doing this, you immediately draw attention to the wine. Then place the other items one at a time, making sure you do not touch the wine portion. You can place the other items in such a way that the attention would be drawn to them after the wine. It is much like directing the recipient on how to appreciate the gift.
